By accessing or using Deshroot (deshroot.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and vendors on the platform.
2. About Deshroot
Deshroot is a marketplace operated by Deshroot Global LLP (GSTIN: 09AAYFD1355K1ZU), registered at F-72, Sector-44, Noida – 201301, Uttar Pradesh, India. We connect artisans and handicraft vendors with buyers across India.
3. Products & Orders
- All products are subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, out-of-stock items, or suspected fraud.
- Product images are indicative. Handcrafted items may have natural variations in colour, texture, and size.
- Prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
4. Payments
- We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD).
- Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways. Deshroot does not store card details.
- COD orders are available for eligible pin codes only.
- In the event of a payment failure, please check with your bank before retrying to avoid duplicate charges.
5. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTP and account access.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of fraudulent activity.
- You must be 18 years or older to transact on Deshroot.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Deshroot — including logos, images, text, and design — is the property of Deshroot Global LLP or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or use of our content without written permission is prohibited.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Placing fraudulent or fake orders.
- Using the platform for illegal activities.
- Reverse-engineering or scraping the website.
- Uploading harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
- Impersonating another person or entity.
8. Limitation of Liability
Deshroot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including delays in delivery, third-party service failures, or force majeure events. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Deshroot after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
